Refunds & cancellation
Last updated 18 September 2026. This policy applies to payments made to Klynea Private Limited (CIN U62011UP2026PTC250071) on app.klynea.in, care.klynea.in and the Klynea apps. Payments are processed by Razorpay.
1. Klynea subscriptions (Premium, Family, Klynea Care plans)
- Prepaid, no auto-renewal. Each payment buys a fixed period (for example one month or one year). We never charge you again automatically; you choose whether to renew.
- Cancelling. You can cancel any time from Subscription in the app or on the web. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then ends.
- Refunds. Because the period is prepaid and stays usable after you cancel, we don't refund unused days or switch plans pro rata — except where the law requires it, or where you were charged twice or in error, in which case we refund the extra amount in full.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, your plan is not activated. Any amount your bank debited for a failed payment is reversed by the bank, usually within 5–7 working days.
2. Doctor consultations
- Cancelling before the cut-off. You can cancel a prepaid consultation online until the cut-off your clinic sets, shown when you book. A consultation cancelled in time is refunded in full to the original payment method.
- If the doctor cancels or cannot hold a paid consultation, you receive a full refund.
- After the cut-off, online cancellation closes; contact the clinic, which decides on any refund under its own policy.
- Paid directly to the doctor (UPI to the doctor or at the clinic desk): refunds are handled by that clinic.
3. How and when refunds arrive
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Razorpay. Banks usually credit them within 5–7 working days of approval (UPI is often faster).
4. Questions or a charge you don't recognise
Open a ticket from Help & Support in the app, or write to support@klynea.in with the date, amount and the last four digits or UPI ID used. Unresolved complaints can go to our Grievance Officer — see the Privacy Policy.
